Yen moved to Calgary when she was seven and since then, Calgary is home! She is Chinese born in Vietnam so her native language is Vietnamese followed by Cantonese, and later became fluent in Mandarin. Growing up in Calgary has allowed her to see how much this City has transformed and developed over the decades. She understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in Calgary with the unmatched culture and diversity. Yen enjoys the many activities that Calgary has to offer. During the beautiful summer days, she goes for runs around the Eau Claire Market area along Memorial Drive, having BBQ gatherings at some of Calgary’s amazing public parks such as Edworthy and Confederation Park. You can also catch her floating down the Bow & Elbow Rivers. If you are looking for a good sweat, she recommends visiting the Bikram Yoga studio in Marda Loop and Hotshop on Varsity Drive, two of her favorite Yoga studios. Also, Yen enjoys getting out of the city for a good hike and so far, her favorites are Mount Yamnuska and Ha Ling Peak. Yen believes in a work-life balance as that is essential to living a healthy & successful lifestyle.
Yen developed an interest in real estate while working for a Calgary Builder part-time and achieving her Accounting degree. She realized that real estate was her passion and soon after, became a licensed real estate agent. Yen’s passion for real estate is evident in her client detail-oriented service, superior knowledge of local stats and interpreting data in ways her clients can understand. She also enjoys educating and helping clients by cultivating a stress-free experience built on a foundation of trust, authenticity, respect, and integrity.
Ryan started his career as a Corporate Sales Executive with one of the “Big Three” Telcos. During his 14 year tenure, Ryan honed his skills and built relationships with many of the up and coming business owners in Calgary and was able to leverage these relationships to consistently win the coveted Platinum Club award for top sales. While Ryan’s success in Telecom gave him the skills and training to advance to unthinkable possibilities, he had always felt something was missing. At this point, after careful consideration and conversation with his wife, Jenni-Lee, he made the decision to enter real estate and represent the beautiful city he grew up in and loves. When Ryan is not working, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, Pyper and participating in activities such as golf or mountain biking.
